exhilarating place to be in. Internship - Context: Nowadays customers don’t think of the retail experience in terms of channels or interactions, they
consider their experience with a brand as a whole. Retailers need to adapt in response but while
shoppers have more choice and flexibility in how they make purchases than ever, many brands still
cannot deliver a seamless experience across the board. People shop on their mobiles, in-store, and
online; they shop via mobile apps; they can even tailor product delivery and collection options to
suit their needs; but delivering a consistent service on all these platforms remains a challenge. As shoppers have more choice and flexibility in how they make purchases than ever, retailers have to
ensure they can cater to shoppers’ changing expectations at all times and on all devices in a
seamless way. Most of them are increasingly relying on their order management system (OMS) to fill
the role of an enterprise wide system of record for order data and to enable a complex set of
omnichannel order fulfillment scenarios like ship-from-store and store pickup. This means that not

Omnichannel architecture, to address: - Customer Orders Fulfillment - Customer Orders Delivery - Customer Orders Life Cycle - Customer Orders Reserve Logistics Internship - Goals: The goal of this internship is to do benchmark on the Order Management System tools available in the
market that better fits the Oracle Retail Suite (OR v14 and OR v15), with special focus on: - Single view of Inventory Stock - Order Fulfillment (Store; Warehouse; Supplier) and Backorders - Order Maintenance - Delivery Types (Pick Up; Ship to Customer) - Customer Order Returns - Single view of the Customer (even it could be managed in a CRM system) The deliverable of the internship should be a document containing the benchmark results and a
proposed solution architecture specification including an OMS system in the Oracle Retail suite. Internship - Plan: This information will be shared in a later stage.
